More Secret Lives
Did you watch “Secret Lives of Women” last week? Both Amy Botwinick and Angie Schmidt were so impressive. They’re great examples of women who were able to turn lemons into lemonade.
When Amy suddenly found herself getting divorced, she ended up writing a book about her experience, Congratulations Your Divorce . She continues to help women get through the painful process of divorce by running workshops as well as offering counseling.
Angie Schmidt started a website, www.smashingkatie.com, which sells a variety of fun, unique items to help deal with a breakup. BTW, Katie is the name of the other woman in Angie’s marriage—a good business woman and a good sense of humor!

I need to start this by reflecting on my marriage.My husband and I have been together for 19 years and to me it seems all he does anymore is yell at me.everything is my fault whether I did it or not and after awhile that gets tiring.I realize I do avoid him at times because I don’t want put down or yelled at again.So today I started this dare.But today wasn’t a good day to start because due to our jobs we did not get to talk at all today,so I will carry that thought tomorrow.I am hoping we get closer the way they did in the movie.But I am also hoping through this I am able to get closer to God.
